The Yark story starts from a situation we've all been in. Our founder was looking to buy a bed, but no matter how hard he looked, however many different brands he approached, he kept seeing subtle variations on the same designs, and surprisingly low quality variations at that.

With experiences like this, it seems that the days of off-the-shelf are numbered. In a world where every aspect of our lives is becoming more and more convenient, furniture buying has remained static. We have no more control now over the process than we did 10, or even 20 years ago. We want to change that. Fast. And so from one moment of frustration, we hatched a bed building brand like no other.

With Yark, it’s all about you. It’s all about giving you control. Control over every aspect of how your bed looks, and then not only when it arrives, but how it arrives too. Usually, this level of customisation has a sizeable cost associated with it, but not here. Manufacturing our bed parts ourselves means we can cut out a whole league of middlemen, maintaining sky high quality standards and a surprisingly reasonable price point.

Ours is the way that buying a bed should be, but we are anything but complacent – always looking for new ways to streamline the bed buying process even further, and continually innovate in ways we haven’t even thought of yet.
